Building Services is a division of the Department of Planning & Building Services and is made up of several sub-divisions: Building Inspection, Electrical Inspection, Housing Inspection, Mechanical Inspection, Plumbing Inspection, Code Enforcement, and Zoning.
Our mission is to assure that the safety, health and welfare of the public and their private property is maintained through the administration and enforcement of uniform construction and safety codes, flood plain management ordinances, licensing ordinance and land use ordinances which address compatibility of uses, height, density and numerous accessory uses.
