Sidewalk vendors are an exciting addition to downtown. Vendors provide additional dining and shopping experiences. Sidewalk vendors are found in very urban settings and bring excitement to otherwise boring street settings.
The City of Sioux Falls regulates sidewalk vendors in the downtown area by Chapter 29; Section III of the City of Sioux Falls codified ordinances. Any vendor wishing to vend or peddle on the city right-of-way within the downtown boundary is required to fill out a sidewalk vendor application form, available at the City Planning Office or download from the right side of this webpage.
