The City of Sioux Falls, along with Downtown Sioux Falls, held a kickoff event for the Phillips Avenue reconstruction project. Work will include pavement removal, miscellaneous utility repairs, new curb and gutter, concrete pavement, and streetscape amenities.

Phillips Avenue, between 10th Street and 12th Street, will be closed to traffic for the duration of the project. Through traffic on 10th Street and 11th Street will be unaffected by this closure. Phillips Avenue is expected to reopen to traffic by mid June.
