Shape Sioux Falls - Jeff Schmitt, Assistant Director of Planning and Building Services, and Candy Hanson from Community Foundation and Sioux Falls Tomorrow discuss Shape Sioux Falls, a community-wide visioning initiative to help determine the City's land use development standards. The objective is to define the vision for the future development of the City as a part of the planned update of the comprehensive plan. These land use design standards will then be incorporated into the City's planned update of the Zoning Ordinance.

Underage Drinking and Driving Campaign - In 2006, 12 teenagers in South Dakota died in underage drinking and driving crashes. Dozens of family members mourned, hundreds of friends grieved, and the entire state lost a portion of its future. The Drug & Alcohol-Free Communities Coalition is sponsoring a special awareness campaign and video, drawing attention to the crisis of underage drinking and driving in South Dakota. Talking about this important topic is Darcy Jensen from Prairie View Prevention Services and Sgt. Galen Smidt of the Sioux Falls Police Department.
