THE MULTI-CULTURAL CENTER OF SIOUX FALLS

Founded in a collaborative effort by ethnic leaders, businesses, law enforcement officials, educators, community advocates, the city of Sioux Falls, Minnehaha County and the Chamber of Commerce, the Multi-Cultural Center of Sioux Falls opened its doors in April 1997. Unique in its structure within a metropolitan environment, the Multi-Cultural Center serves as an organization open to all people in our community, with special attention given to the ethnic, refugee, and minority populations. The Multi-Cultural Center functions as the main organization within the community whose primary purpose is to build bridges of understanding, tolerance, and cooperation among all groups within the area.

The mission of the Multi-Cultural Center is to provide opportunities for ALL people to learn, celebrate and share through cultural experiences.
