Bob Litz was appointed to the City Council in July 2006, to fill the vacated Northwest District seat. He is the Vice Chair of the City Council and serves on the Land Use Committee. He also serves, for the City, on the Board of Appeals and the Infrastructure Review and Advisory Board.
Since 1992, Bob has owned Sioux Falls Framing. He has worked as a homebuilder for the Sioux Empire Housing Partnership for the past four years. Bob is a member and past president of the Homebuilders Association of Sioux Empire. He is also a board member of the Glory House.
Bob, who is married to Sharon, has five children: Robbie, Amber, Amelia, Anna, and Alan. He is a veteran of the U.S. Navy and Vietnam War. He is an Augustana College graduate. Bob is also an assistant coach for the Sioux Falls Storm and a coach for South Dakota Junior Football. |
