CDC PROTECT Initiative |
| The PROTECT Initiative, led by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), is launching an educational program, “Up and Away and Out of Sight,” to encourage parents to follow a few simple steps to protect children from unintentional medication overdoses. Overdoses can lead to harm, sometimes requiring emergency treatment or hospitalization and are a significant public health problem. Children are especially vulnerable to unintentional overdoses, most of which can be prevented. |

Support Falls Community Health |
| • Community Health Centers are the only place that the uninsured or underinsured patients can receive high quality, comprehensive, primary and preventative care.
• 60 million people across America do not have regular access to health care because they are underinsured or can’t afford the cost of their employer’s coverage.
• The federal government is looking to cut funding for health care programs such as, Medicaid and Community Health Centers. |
