An agreement between the City of Sioux Falls and Minnehaha County provides for the existence of Siouxland Libraries. A Library Board is jointly appointed by the City Council and by the County Commissioners. This Board sets policies for the library and provides citizen input and recommendations for administrative actions to the Library Director, Sally Felix, and to the governing bodies. Board members may serve up to two three-year terms.
The Board meets bimonthly, odd numbered months, on the second Wednesday at 4:30 p.m.
