Public Parking Advisory Board

The Public Parking Advisory Board (PPAB) was established by City Ordinance, Chapter 40, Section 40-256, in 1973. The PPAB is comprised of seven members. Each member shall be a property owner in the downtown business district (defined in City Ordinance, Chapter 39, Section 39-135).

Board members are appointed by the Mayor.
The members of the PPAB shall serve for five years with staggered terms or until their successors are appointed.
The PPAB shall elect from its members a president, vice-president, and a secretary; each of whom shall serve for the term of one year or until their successor is elected.
Four members present shall constitute a quorum for conducting official business.
Members of the PPAB shall serve without compensation.
In matters concerning ethics and conflict of interest, Ordinance No. 88-95 shall be followed.
The PPAB shall hold meetings as necessary.
