PUBLIC NOTICE
Proposed Land Application Site for the Beneficial Reuse of Sioux Falls Municipal Biosolids.
The City of Sioux Falls Biosolids Program, in cooperation with local landowners, has identified the following new agricultural site for the purpose of land application of Sioux Falls municipal biosolids. The biosolids application will be in a manner compliant with federal regulations, state rules, and the City’s permit and Sludge Management Plan.

Any person, including the landowner, may petition the Director to make comment on the use of the above-listed land for the beneficial reuse of Sioux Falls municipal biosolids. Any formal comment or appeal must be received in writing within 30 days of the issuance of this public notice. In its petition, the appealing party must indicate the specific site objected to and the specific reasons for this objection. Direct any questions on this public notice or the City’s intended use of this land to the Residue Coordinator at 367-8192, or the Environmental Manager at 367-8277.
