The National Weather Service, Minnehaha County, Lincoln County and the City of Sioux Falls are partnering to offer a storm spotter training session on Monday, April 28 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Washington Pavilion Great Hall at 301 South Main Avenue.

The program will review storm spotting fundamentals, how to report severe weather observations, weather safety procedures and historical storm systems that have affected the region. This session is open to area first responders and the general public at no cost.
