Sioux Falls Fire Rescue was dispatched to a house fire at 731 S. Summit Avenue at 6:23 a.m.

SFFR crews arrived on scene and found smoke and flames coming from the house. The fire was under control within 30 minutes.

SFFR responded with 7 fire trucks, 2 support vehicles, and 27 firefighters. The residents were not home at the time of the fire and there were no injuries.

The Red Cross, Rural Metro Ambulance, and Sioux Falls Police Department also assisted on scene. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
