On February 4, 2008, at approximately 7:27 p.m., Sioux Falls Fire Rescue responded to a structure fire at 5100 West 12th Street.

First arriving units reported flames inside the garage door. SFFR crews quickly extinguished the fire. The fire was contained to a dumpster located right inside the garage door.

Three fire trucks, 2 support vehicles, and 14 firefighters responded to the fire. There were no reported injuries.
