The Sioux Falls Police Department would like the public’s help finding those responsible for the theft of a large amount of copper from two Sioux Falls businesses.

Approximately 2,500 feet of two-inch in diameter copper wire on a spool was taken from a business located in the industrial area off of North Cliff Avenue.

Tools, welding leads, welding extension cords, and lengths of copper pipe were taken from a business on West 12th Street. Both thefts occurred around the Christmas holiday and the total loss is estimated at $24,000.
