On June 9, Sioux Falls Police were alerted to some child pornography that was found at a local business by company employees.

The pictures had been printed off of the internet. During the course of the investigation into the child pornography, it was alleged that the same suspect raped a 6-year-old girl in 1999.

An arrest warrant was issued and on June 27, 2008 and the suspect was located and arrested in the Sturgis area.

The suspect was charged with 1st Degree Rape and three (3) counts of Possession of Child Pornography.
