Beginning on Wednesday, July 9, 2008, work will begin on Phase II of Valley View Road between 12th Street and 16th Street. The contractor will be constructing Valley View Road along a new alignment and installing City utilities.

During Phase II, Valley View Road will be closed from 12th Street to 16th Street until the project is complete. Traffic will be detoured to Marion Road. The entire project is expected to be completed by the end of August.

Friessen Construction of Sioux Falls is the prime contractor.
