Beginning on Monday, July 21, 2008, construction for the Southeastern Avenue Project from Buckingham Street to 2,300 feet south will begin.

This project consists of constructing storm sewer and water main improvements on Southeastern Avenue from Buckingham Street to 2,300 feet south. The road will be reconstructed into an urban four-lane with landscaped median section.

The roadway is expected to be substantially complete and open to traffic by October 18, 2008, and fully complete by the end of May 2009.

During construction, motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes.

The prime contractor for this project is D and G Concrete Construction of Sioux Falls, SD.
