Sioux Falls Fire Rescue responded to a building fire at 301 S. Grange Ave. at 12:40am on Thursday, July 17, 2008.

Firefighters arriving on scene found smoke coming from a joint building occupied by the New Asian Food Market (315 S. Grange Ave.) and First National Pawn (301 S. Grange Ave.).

The fire was in the basement of the New Asian Food Market and quickly spread to the roof and First National Pawn. Sioux Falls Fire Rescue responded with 7 fire trucks, 31 firefighters, and 2 support vehicles.

Firefighters were still on scene at 7:30am. Both businesses received heavy fire and smoke damage. The cause is under investigation.
