Sioux Falls Fire Rescue responded to a house fire at 2113 E. 31st N.

Units arriving on scene found smoke coming from the attic area of the house.

The fire was under control in approximately 20 minutes. Sioux Falls Fire Rescue responded with 7 fire trucks, 3 support vehicles and 30 firefighters. The occupants where home and exited safely. No firefighter or civilian injuries reported.

The cause of the fire was due to a lightning strike.
