On June 5, 2008, Sioux Falls Community Development received from the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) the 2007 Annual Community Assessment (ACS). The ACS examines information provided by Sioux Falls for its 2007 program year as outlined in the Consolidated Plan, Annual Action Plan, and Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report. These documents identify projects and activities that received funding through the federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program or Home Investment Partnerships (HOME) program.

HUD is satisfied with the City’s strides in providing affordable housing and addressing its community development needs, and the City’s compliance with the requirements of the applicable laws and regulations.
