Title: Crime of the Week: Attempted Child Abduction

The Sioux Falls Police Department would like the publics’ help finding the person responsible for attempting to lure a seven-year-old boy into his car on Tuesday June 3, 2008.

Shortly before noon, just east of Minnesota Avenue and South of 69th Street, the suspect used an offer of circus tickets to try to get the child into his car. The boy ran away.

The suspect is described as a black male with a goatee driving a four-door, red, Honda-type car with a foot-long scratch near the passenger side front wheel.
