Title: O’Gorman High School Lockdown

On May 1, 2008, at 09:45 a.m., officers were dispatched to O’Gorman High School at 3201 South Kiwanis Avenue. The report was that two individuals were seen entering the school wearing camouflage military uniforms and face paint.

School officials were unable to determine who they might be or their location, so the building went into lockdown. As officers were securing and searching the building, it was determined that the individuals were actually drama students who were in a different part of the building then expected at the time.

The duration of the lockdown was approximately 30 minutes after which the building resumed normal operation.
