Title: Sioux Falls Coordinated Public Transit - Human Services Transportation Plan

The Planning Department of the City of Sioux Falls is seeking input on the transportation needs of older adults, individuals with low-incomes, and person with disabilities.

The City is developing a coordinated transportation plan to find out how private and public transportation agencies and human service agencies can work together to fill gaps in transportation services for the target population.

The public is invited to attend an informational meeting on Tuesday, May 20, from 5–6:30 p.m. The meeting will begin with a 30-minute overview of the plan. The public will then be provided an opportunity to voice issues and concerns about transportation needs for the target populations.

For more information on the Coordinated Public Transit—Human Services Transportation Plan, go to www.siouxfalls.org/transit. Gathering information from the public is critical to the development of strategies to address the unmet transportation needs in the community. The meeting will be held at Carnegie Town Hall, 235 West Tenth Street, in the Multipurpose Room.

The meeting location is accessible to persons with disabilities. With advance notification, accommodations may be provided for those with special needs related to language, sight, or hearing.

Contact Debra Gaikowski at 367-8892. Sioux Falls Transit will give riders of the transit system a return bus pass at no cost.
