The Sioux Falls Convention & Visitors Bureau would like to announce that the 6th Annual Winter Wonderland at Falls Park kick-off event will be Saturday, November 22, 2008. Mayor Dave Munson will flip the switch to light up Falls Park at 6 p.m.
Falls Park will be decorated in thousands of spectacular holiday lights, garland & ice sculptures. Adults and children will be able to enjoy cookies, free horse-drawn wagon rides (6 p.m. to 9 p.m.), holiday music and a visit with Santa & Mrs. Claus. Also, for the third year in a row we will have live animals - two reindeer and a camel!
The Sioux Falls Trolley will be taking people to Falls Park from the downtown area between 5 p.m. & 10 p.m. The trolley will pick up passengers at the regular trolley stop locations. Limited parking is available at the park. The Visitor Information Center parking lot will be strictly designated for handicapped accessible parking only.

Winter Wonderland is an amazing display of lights & holiday festivities for all ages. Falls Park will continue to “light up” nightly through January 4, 2009. |
