August 24 through August 28 the Sioux Falls Police Department will be conducting its school zone enforcement week. Officers will be working in school zones all week enforcing speed, seat belt, parking, and pedestrian laws. In addition to school zones, officers will also be conducting concentrated speed enforcement throughout the day in designated high-speed or high-crash areas.

Drivers are encouraged to pay particular attention in and around the streets surrounding schools, not only this week but all year-round. Buckle up and stay safe!!
