The Sioux Falls Fourth of July Parade Committee is requesting entrants for the Fourth of July Parade to be held on Saturday, July 4, 2009, at 10:30 a.m. in downtown Sioux Falls. Entries should be patriotic in nature and help celebrate the nation’s 233rd birthday. Local businesses, civic organizations, marching bands, clubs, and others are encouraged to participate in the event.

Children are also invited to decorate their bicycles or wagons and participate in the event. Lineup for child entrants begins at 10 a.m. in the Sioux Falls Transit parking lot at Sixth street and Weber avenue. No preregistration is necessary for child entries.
