Title: Car Versus Motorcycle Crash

On November 2, 2009, at 1830 hours, Sioux Falls Police, Sioux Falls Fire Rescue, and Rural Metro Ambulance responded to the 2900 block of South Louise Avenue for a report of a car/motorcycle crash.

Investigation at the scene showed that a 1995 Chevy Lumina driven by Jessica Aubuchon, 18 years old of Sioux Falls, was turning north to west into the Walmart parking lot entrance. While making the turn, the Lumina collided with a 2007 Harley Davidson motorcycle driven by Lane Docter, 19 years old, of Volga, South Dakota, that was southbound on Louise Avenue. Samantha Huderby, 19 years old, of Volga, South Dakota, was a passenger on the motorcycle.

Docter sustained minor injuries and Huderby sustained serious injuries as a result of the crash. Both were transported to Sanford Hospital. Docter and Huderby were not wearing helmets at the time of the crash. Aubuchon was not injured.

The investigation continues and no citations have been issued at the time of this release.
