The City of Sioux Falls is hosting its first ever Green-ival, a green festival that promotes all things sustainable.

We will be accepting vendor applications through Friday, September 4, so if you think your organization or business might be eligible, please visit www.siouxfalls.org/green . . . for more information.

We are also seeking individuals who would like to teach a short class relating to sustainability and musicians with a strong interest in sustainability. The event will take place on September 19, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., in Falls Park.

The Green-ival isn’t just limited to nature gurus. We want everything from local food producers and bicycle shops to law firms and print shops that use green practices for their every day operations. We plan to give the citizens of Sioux Falls as much information as possible regarding who they can buy from and interact with in Sioux Falls to become more sustainable themselves.

Applications must be submitted by September 4 at 5 p.m.
