Police and Fire were dispatched to the intersection of Walts Avenue and Brookings Street for a two-vehicle traffic collision. The investigation revealed that one of the vehicles had overturned after it was struck by a vehicle that did not yield at the intersection. Both drivers were transported by ambulance to Sanford and McKennan. They were found to have no injuries, but both complained of pain.

Driver 1: Joe Juma Ayela, 50, of Sioux Falls was cited for failing to yield at an intersection with a posted yield sign.

Driver 2: Ashley Ann Kraai, 21, of Sioux Falls.
