Campaign signs are popping up like the tulips.
As the election draws near, the zoning office would like to remind you that yard signs should be removed the week after an election. Campaign signs may be placed in yards 60 days before an election. These signs do not require a permit.
Upcoming 2010 Elections:
- Local Election - City of Sioux Falls and School Boards April 13, 2010
Sign removal date: April 20, 2010
- Run-off Election - City of Sioux Falls April 27, 2010
Sign removal date: May 4, 2010.
- Primary - June 8, 2010
Signs may be displayed starting April 8, 2010
Removal date: June 15, 2010
- November Elections - South Dakota legislative, ballot initiatives, and US congressional elections November 2, 2010
Signs may be displayed starting September 2, 2010
Removal date November 9, 2010
