Cyclists, friends, and family will be gathering near the vicinity of 57th Street and Galway Avenue at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 19, 2010, to place a ghost bike as a memorial to a cyclist who was killed on August 18 at 5:30 p.m.

The memorial will serve as a reminder of the tragedy and as a quiet statement in support of cyclists’ right to safe travel.
