Beginning on Friday, August 20, 2010, at 6 p.m., the east leg of the intersection of Minnesota Avenue and Sixth Street will be closed to traffic. Northbound and southbound traffic on Minnesota Avenue will continue to be reduced to one lane in each direction between Russell Street and Sixth Street. Minor intersections will remain closed to cross traffic between Russell Street and Sixth Street. Traffic delays are to be expected. Motorists are urged to use caution in the construction areas and may wish to consider alternate routes. The intersection work is anticipated to be completed by 6 a.m., Monday, August 23, 2010.

Project completion is scheduled for mid-October.

The prime contractor for the project is Asphalt Surfacing Company of Sioux Falls, SD.
