The construction updates for the following segments of the bike trail are as follows:

1. Old Yankton Trail Bridge—is now open and the trail is open again between 49th Street and Western Avenue.
   
   
2. 41st Street Bridge—is now open, allowing the trail to be temporarily open from 49th Street to Sherman Park. The trail will close again in October for levee construction.
   
   
3. North Drive—is now closed through the end of October for emergency sewer main repairs. The trail section closed is from Falls Park to North Drive. No alternative route is available in this area because of the lack of sidewalk and narrow street widths.
   
   
4. Downtown—is currently closed for a sewer main replacement project. This project, and another phase of the sewer replacement project, will keep the bike trail closed downtown into next year. Alternative routes are available in this area.
