The City of Sioux Falls along with Runge Enterprises took a major step forward today on the Big Sioux River/Skunk Creek Flood Control Project.

Sioux Falls Construction will be performing the first large concrete pour of the flood control dam near the confluence of the two rivers. It is estimated to take over 70 concrete trucks to complete this phase of the project.

A representative from Senator John Thune’s office was in town today to observe the project’s progression.
