The City of Sioux Falls has started to take delivery of the new 32-inch Hobas sanitary sewer pipe that will replace the pipe that collapsed in northeast Sioux Falls.

The pipe is manufactured by HOBAS Pipe USA in Houston, Texas, and is a centrifugally cast fiberglass reinforced polymer mortar pipe.

The City of Sioux Falls and Northern Dewatering Company continue to operate the bypass pumping system.

Lametti and Sons, Inc. along with H & W Contracting continue to excavate and prepare the site for installation of the new pipe.
