Beginning on Wednesday, September 1, 2010, construction crews will begin work on the westbound lanes of Russell Street between Western Avenue and West Avenue.

The detour route for this phase of construction will utilize West Russell Street frontage road on the north side of Russell Street. Work will include cracking and seating the existing concrete surface and an asphalt overlay.

The intersections of Western Avenue and West Avenue will remain open. Traffic delays are expected in this area and motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes.

The prime contractor for this project is Seal Pros, Inc. of Harrisburg.
