This week on the Eighth Street Project, water main and storm sewer construction on the project was completed.

The underground utility portion of the project is now completed. Dirt work was completed and gravel base course was placed from the bridge to the Eighth Street and Phillips Avenue intersection.

Electrical conduits have been run through the Eighth Street and Phillips Avenue intersection and will continue toward Main Avenue.

Short areas of curb and gutter are being replaced on the Eighth Street bridge. Curb and gutter has been poured from the Eighth Street bridge to Phillips Avenue.
