Title: Crime of the Week: Construction Site Tool Thefts

The Sioux Falls Police Department would like the public’s help with finding those responsible for the thefts of construction tools from four construction sites since January 10.

The tools were taken from two construction trailers, a trailer home, and a commercial building site. Two of the thefts were near East 60th Street North and Sycamore Avenue, one was about a mile south and west of there, and the fourth was in the 8300 block of West 56th Street. Name-brand power tools, a hydraulic Sheetrock lift, air compressors, and other tools were taken. Total loss is estimated to be into the tens of thousands of dollars.
