At approximately 2:15 a.m. January 27, 2010, Sioux Falls Police Officers responded to a possible stabbing near Louise Avenue and Tennis Lane.

Witnesses advised that a 16-year-old male had been stabbed in the back and was currently somewhere in the neighborhood. He was eventually located in the 4500 block of south Louise Avenue with serious bleeding on his back. He was taken to McKennan and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Officers located a male who advised he was at the scene trying to break up the fight. He gave officers false information about a fictitious suspect who allegedly left the scene. Another subject was found in the area that had blood evidence on his person. Eventually witnesses and interviews identified all involved.
