Mayor Mike Huether’s Listening and Learning Session for the public will be held at the Whisk & Chop, 108 South Minnesota Avenue, on Saturday, July 31, 2010, from 9 to 10:30 a.m.

Sue Quanbeck Etten, Director of Central Services, will present an overview of the following City divisions: Facilities Management, Risk Management, Information Technology, and Media Services, and answer questions specific to the City’s public website and Channel 16 programming. Also in attendance, Karla Paulson, Media Services Manager, and Jon Klemme, Information Technology Manager, will be available for questions.

Mayor Mike Huether will not be in attendance due to another family commitment at that time.

On future Saturdays, City Directors, along with Mayor Huether, will host the Listening and Learning Sessions at the same time and location. Each week will feature a different City department and will provide the public with an opportunity to learn more about the programs and projects that are helping Sioux Falls move forward.

• August 7, 2010 Darrin Smith, Director of Community Development and Public Parking Facilities
• August 14, 2010 Eugene Rowenhorst, Director of Finance (Please note location and time change—10:30 a.m. to noon, the Front Porch/W. H. Lyon Fairgrounds)
• August 21, 2010 Bill O’Toole, Director of Human Resources
