Beginning on Thursday evening, September 2, 2010, the intersections of Russell Street and West Avenue and Russell Street at Prairie Avenue will be closed.

The detour route for this phase of construction will utilize North Minnesota Avenue, West Algonquin Street, North Industrial Avenue, and West Russell Street Frontage Road.

Work will include pavement repair and an asphalt overlay on the existing concrete surface.

The intersections will be closed after 6 p.m. on Thursday and will reopen prior to 6 a.m. the following morning. Traffic delays are expected in this area and motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes.

The prime contractor for this project is Seal Pros, Inc. of Harrisburg.
