The City of Sioux Falls Public Works department will be conducting neighborhood surveys pertaining to household sump pump usage.

All surveys will be conducted between the hours of 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. Survey conductors will be City employees with ID badges clearly visible and they will be driving City vehicles.

Surveys will consist of a few questions and a request to visually inspect the sump pump setup. The purpose of the survey is to educate homeowners on proper sump pump discharge.

Surveys are expected to be completed in two months.
