River Boulevard, between Cliff Avenue and Southeastern Avenue, will reopen to one lane of traffic in each direction on the new westbound lanes at 7 a.m. on Friday, September 3, 2010.

River Boulevard has been closed to all traffic since Monday, August 23, 2010, to allow the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad to perform railroad crossing improvements near the intersection of 18th Street and Southeastern Avenue.

The overall completion date for the project is October 29, 2010.

The prime contractor for this project is T & R Contracting, Inc. of Sioux Falls.
