The lane closures on Minnesota Avenue from 14th Street to 18th Street originally scheduled for Tuesday, September 7, 2010, have been delayed until Wednesday, September 8.

Beginning Tuesday evening, September 7, 2010, Minnesota Avenue will be reduced to one lane in each direction from 14th Street to 18th Street.

Beginning Wednesday evening, Minnesota Avenue will be reduced to one lane in each direction from 14th Street to 18th Street. 

The east leg of the 14th Street intersection at Minnesota Avenue will also be reduced to one lane in each direction. Starting Friday, September 10, 2010, at 6 p.m., the east leg of 18th Street will be fully closed until Monday, September 13, 2010, at 6 a.m. The project includes concrete pavement repairs and an asphalt overlay of Minnesota Avenue.

Traffic delays are to be expected. Motorists are urged to use caution in the construction areas and may wish to consider alternate routes.

Project completion is scheduled for mid-October. The prime contractor for the project is Asphalt Surfacing Company of Sioux Falls, SD.
