Mayor Mike Huether’s Listening and Learning Session for the public will be held at the Whisk & Chop, 108 South Minnesota Avenue, on Saturday, September 11, 2010, from 9 to 10:30 a.m.

Sally Felix, Director of Siouxland Libraries, will talk about library services that the public might not be aware of such as downloadable audio and e-books, magazine and research databases, and interlibrary loan. She will also review the upcoming fall programs for adults and children and give an update on the new westside library.

On future Saturdays, City Directors and/or Mayor Huether, will host the Listening and Learning Sessions at the same time and location. Each week features a different City department and provides the public an opportunity to learn about the programs and projects that are moving Sioux Falls forward.

• October 2, 2010 Donn Hill, Fire Chief
