Celebrate our nation’s Independence Day with Mayor Mike Huether on Thursday, July 4, 2013, at the Fourth of July Family Parade and Picnic at Falls Park. This event will feature a free lunch for the first 5,000 attendees, live entertainment, as well as a 5K run/walk and a parade down Phillips Avenue.

Sounds at the Falls

Sounds at the Falls is a new program designed to offer park visitors a variety of entertainment experiences throughout the summer and to feature the namesake of our city, the Falls of the Big Sioux River.

The new schedule of entertainment will include free live theater or musicians in the Queen Bee Mill on Saturdays between 7 and 9 p.m.

This memorable biking event will take place June 29 and 30 and is a partnership between the City of Sioux Falls, Argus Leader Media, and the Sioux Falls Sports Authority. Ride the 20-mile Sioux Falls bike trail on Saturday, June 29, and experience a cyclovia (a Spanish word meaning to open city streets to bicycles) on Sunday, June 30.
