Needs Assessment

A community survey has been administered in the Pettigrew Heights neighborhood. This survey was intended to help City Planning staff determine what residents and business owners of Pettigrew Heights would like to see added to their neighborhood.

Questions covered many topics, including housing, transportation, quality of life issues, recreation, and neighborhood concerns. Surveys were delivered door-to door in conjunction with the Volunteer Sioux Falls neighborhood cleanup so that each of the 3,900 had an opportunity to complete a survey. The business surveys were mailed to each business within the neighborhood.

The survey was also available at many locations within the neighborhood. There were deposit boxes at five sites for respondents to return the surveys.
