• Jaime Hamley received an Outstanding Citizen Award from Chief Barthel. Jaime witnessed an accident on January 27. One of the driver’s was unconscious and trapped in his wrecked car. Jaime pulled him to safety before the car became engulfed in flames.

May

• In May, Washington H.S. School Resource Officer Hank Bayne received the first SDASRO School Officer of the Year Award.

June

• On June 5th, Sgt Tim Hagen received a Patriot Award from the Employee Support of Guard and Reserve (ESRG)
