Public Information Officer

Officer Sam Clemens has been the new Public Information Officer since March 2008. The Public Information Officer continues to evolve in its dealings with the public. Requests from local media continue to be a priority, enabling them to provide information to the public and foster an open relationship with the department.

The Police Department’s show, “On Patrol”, continues to showcase different aspects of the department on CityLink 16. Airing a new episode every month enables us to highlighting a different part of the department, new equipment, and answering viewer questions. “On Patrol” episodes can be seen on Channel 16 or on the Police Department’s website.

Officer Clemens remain committed to the goal of maintaining and improving relationships with the media outlets and providing needed information to ensure the public’s safety.
