Media relations are an integral part of the Sioux Falls Police Department’s commitment to customer service. Our full time Public Information Officer is tasked with hosting a daily news briefing, responding to the scene of a major incident, preparing an inter-department newsletter, assisting in the development of recruiting materials and hosting an informational, “public safety” focused television program that airs on the city’s public access channel.
