Animal Control is separate from the Humane Society & Second Chance Rescue Center. Second Chance houses animals picked up within the city. Second Chance will hold animals without ID for (3) 24-hr periods, and (5) 24-hr periods with ID, not including Sundays & holidays. Afterwards, those animals become the property of the Second Chance Rescue Center.
